NOVEMBER WHISKY TASTING
Whisky Tasting – 7K Distillery – November
Tickets to the November Star Theatre whisky tasting night are now available (Final for 2022).
The featured Tasmanian Whisky will be from 7K Distillery, with Production Manager and ‘Duke of Distillation’ Tom Rofe on hand and in attendance to share his specially selected expression.
A vertical tasting of whisky from one of Tom’s favourite Scottish Distilleries will follow with rarely seen single malts from the Highland Distillery of Teaninich.
There will also be a special video presentation of the Thompson Bros independent bottler, by Kelvin Low of The Elysian Whisky Bar Melbourne and Select Spirits.
As always we will finish with a Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) exclusive, this month will be Tom’s favoured flavour profile (Deep Rich & Dried Fruits), from distillery number 59.

Teaninich Single Malts (15ml serves)
– Glen Cooper 5 year old (46%)
– James Eadie 9 year old (46%)
– Thompson Bros (Stout Cask Finish) 11 year old (53.9%)
– SMWS 59.68 Leather Bound Petrol Station 12 year old (57%)
Numbers are limited to 25 whisky tasting participants in The Star Theatre’s private function room.
Some drinks featured are high in ABV and served at ‘cask strength’, so please drink responsibly. Light food platters and popcorn included.
